Kids' letter to Jody

Sarah prompted the kids to dictate a letter to Jody, their former nanny:

Question 1: What would you like to say to Jody?

 

Jasper says (while stuffing mac and cheese in mouth): That umm, the cars are celebrating Christmas. They are going get lots of regular cars over, and invite some of their friends the regular cars over. The regular cars will invite them with some Hanukah things. The Hanukah things will be some new friends.

 

Gus: I want to tell Joday that we’re going, umm, that, umm, that, tell Joday that, umm, mom will tell a story about when we’re going to, Flo was talking to Lightning.

 

Question: What was the most fun thing to do with Jody?

 

Jasper says: To blow in the tubes at our Seattle house.

 

Gus: Go to Kidsquest and put the scarves in the holes, and play with balls. They flew up and up and over and came out in that other place.

 

Jasper then began to tell an elaborate story about Lightning McQueen’s visit to Kidsquest. Sigh. We’re still stuck on the same topic.
