A milestone

Tonight as I was putting Gus to bed, singing him twinkle twinkle little star, he started to sing along for the first time ever. Today he also sang the ABCs quite clearly while washing his hands, and then, tonight, it just made me cry when he started singing. He sang, "inkle, inkle...are...inkle, inkle...are."  He basically got the words in time with mine, and then skipped some of the words, but hit the ones he did get right in time with the song. And it reminded me how he's not really a baby any more, even though he still acts like my baby some of the time!
